Who should NOT get vaccinated?

Even though it seems not to be very threatening, there is a lot of concern about the H1N1 flu. The adminstration and the medical community are working hard to contain the flu and spread the information about preventing it. The parents on the other hand are getting more and more confused. Why?

Who should NOT get vaccinated?

If you:

- Have allergy to chicken eggs
- Have had any severe reaction to a flu vaccine in the past
- Had developed Guillain-Barré syndrome (GBS) within 6 weeks of getting an influenza vaccine previously
- Are having a moderate to severe illness with a fever,

you should not get any flu vaccine without first consulting your doctor.
If you have a fever or a cold, you should wait until you recover.

Children younger than 6 months of age are not give any kind of flu vaccines.
