Hib booster doses available

Many children were not given the booster dose for Hib due to a shortage in the vaccine supply. CDC says the manufacturer has made more vaccines available therefore all kids who were not, should be given the booster dose now.

Though there is enough supply for all the kids, it is advised to get the Hib booster dose on the next regular visit to the doctor. Enough vaccines to provide the booster shot to all the kids right away are not available. The CDC is stressing to get the booster shot and complete the immunization plan by the next visit to the pediatrician.
