Seasonal flu eclipsed by H1N1 flu

Even though the regular seasonal flu kills almost 250,000 people a year, no one seems to be as concerned as they are with the flu from the 2009 H1N1 virus!

Is this because of the human psychology of fearing the unknown?

Most cases that are being reported in the hospitals are predominantly the h1n1 flu cases as this flu started earlier than the normal flu season. So if you are having any flu symptoms they might be from the h1n1 flu at this time. IMHO, it would be a good idea to see your doctor if you do!
